The Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children provides contemporary, short-term care for children of all races and cultures. It is committed to maintaining a specialized facility sensitive to the needs of boys, girls, and families, and to Nova Scotia’s Black community.

The Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children’s Broadcast for Funds will be held on December 9, 2012 from 2-6 pm at the NSCC Waterfront Campus. This year we will feature many of our Idol performers. Admission is free! Join us as we raise funds for programming and operation of the Akoma Family Centre.
